An independent jury from the Platform Clean Shipping initiative recognized Pronomar’s products and services to be worthy of the ‘Green Route’ status at Europort 2013. The Europort is one of the world’s leading maritime events and will take place from 5 – 9 November 2013 in Ahoy Rotterdam.

Europort confers the Green Route status on exhibitors demonstrating an environmental ‘vision’. The Green Route is a great way to draw attention on companies committed to reduce the environmental impact of seagoing and offshore vessels. “The Green Route has proved itself at Europort to be a valuable tool to showcase the latest solutions for a sustainable maritime industry”, says Raymond Siliakus, Europort 2013 Exhibition Manager.

Pronomar fits right into the Green Route concept with their products and services, with the Merus technology as a sustainable and environment-friendly solution for problems with scaling, rust and biofouling in fresh- or seawater lines and applications. Less energy and chemicals are needed to maintain a safe level of operations. The second product of their range, the Top Trock drying systems for professional work wear, help to reduce carbon emissions by drying efficiently in a short time with a great volume of circulated air, rather than with heat as in conventional drying rooms or cabinets.

We prize this acknowledgement, which is also shown on the floor plan and on the ‘Green Route participant’ plate that we may display at our stand (no. 2303), and hope to make more companies aware of our products.
