Pronomar is happy about two new follow up orders from KD Cruise Services, who this time placed an order with Pronomar on behalf of Premicon Flussreisen GmbH. They decided to equip two of their cruise vessels, the Diamond Travelmarvel as well as the Mozart2 with the innovative, environment-friendly Pronomar-MERUS rings to counteract heavy scaling.
The following rings were installed:
on the Diamond Travelmarvel
– one 3” IND ring at the hydrophore
– one 2” IND BIO ring at the heat exchanger
– one 1” IND ring at the supply line to the kitchen
and on the Mozart2
– one 3” IND ring at the hydrophore
– one 2 ½” IND BIO ring at the boiler
– one 1 ¼” IND ring at the supply line to the kitchen
The rings work in a simple, yet highly efficient way: after installation they give off tiny oscillations which disturb the lime scale. Afterwards the troublesome substances are flushed away leaving the boiler, water pipes and applications free or with less scaling, thus bringing back the initially experienced performance level and diameter of the pipes in question. The equipments lifetime is thus prolonged; further the rings are totally maintenance free – two facts which mean a significant decrease in operational costs.
