Pronomar can certainly feel this way as they have recently received another nice follow up order from Scylla Tours, a Swiss shipping company running a fleet of luxurious river cruise vessels covering all major European rivers. Their vessels cater for the high-end market and leave nothing to be desired. After the MS Swiss Emerald, MS Swiss Ruby and the MS Treasures Pronomar are proud to have received the go-ahead for the supply of their environment-friendly and highly innovative MERUS rings, this time for the MS Alina, another jewel on the rivers of Europe.
Pronomar were pleased to supply the following rings:
one 2” Merus HCI BIO ring, to be installed at the hydrofoor
one 2” Merus IND ring, for the pumps of the hydrofoor
one 2” Merus HCI BIO ring for the hot water supply
one 1”Merus IND ring – for the water supply to the kitchen
one ½” Merus IND ring to the water supply to the whirlpool
Same as the staff on-board the MS Alina look after their guests well-being and comfort, the rings do the very same, if you like, for the vessels equipment.
And this is how: after being installed the rings give off tiny oscillations, thus disturbing the lime scale. Afterwards you simply flush away the “troublemakers” leaving the relevant equipment free from scaling or other harmful build-up which in consequence brings back the initially experienced performance levels. Further the equipments lifetime is increased considerably.
Last but not least the rings do not require any maintenance which means a significant saving in operational costs as well as manpower. It is safe to say that with the MERUS rings you can be sure of a smooth operation on-board and equipment working to its full potential!
